Co-produced with Melbourne’s Feat In Space Theatre Co., The Old 505 Theatre will be presenting the Sydney premieres of Receivers and The Piano Thief.
An absurd and dark sci-fi comedy, Receivers follows the story of Hendrick, an idealistic farmer who after years of studying agriculture, simply cannot make things grow. In a final bid to save his property from ruin, he stumbles into the world of Latin 4’s space platform.
Featuring Mark Tregonning, Tom Milton, Mathew Young, Eva Torkkola and Sophie Kelly, and directed by Gareth Ellis, the play will explore themes of theoretical science and how reality is perceived.
Receivers is presented as part of a double bill with The Piano Thief, and both shows will run from Saturday August 8 to Sunday August 23 at the Old 505 Theatre, tickets through here.
