If you’ve been holding out hope for Nathan Drake’s silver screen debut, you might want to check out the trailer for Uncharted first.
After being announced over TEN YEARS AGO, the Uncharted movie will soon finally see the light of day. But considering the troubled production itself has been an absolute shemozzle, it makes sense that the film’s trailer would suffer the same fate.
As a result, a blurry teaser has now been leaked across the internet. You can check it out for yourself below:

Touted as being a prequel to the beloved PlayStation franchise, it’s unclear as to what story the film is going to follow. That becomes even more confusing considering the trailer appears to showcase a plane cargo setpiece made famous in Uncharted 3.

It’s worth noting that Tom Holland himself has already given fans the heads up that the movie is going to be a little bit shit. Back in March he was quoted in a GQ interview saying:
“As soon as you start worrying about ‘Do I look good in this shot?’ acting becomes something other than playing a character. I think there are elements of my performance in Uncharted where I kind of fell under that spell of being ‘I want to look good now. I want this to be my cool moment’. …
“Look, I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know if I succeeded in that. But it was an important lesson learned, because, at times, it was less about land a mark and go through this scene and more about land a mark, stand like this and see my bulging biceps… It was a mistake and is something that I will probably never do again.”
Might wanna skip the press tour for this one, Tommy.
Uncharted is currently scheduled to hit Aussie cinemas on February 17. The film also stars Mark Wahlberg as Sully – Drake’s incredibly popular moustachioed companion – sans said moustache.
Yep, this movie is certainly going to be… something.
