Attention all plant-based friends! There’s a vegan chocolate making masterclass coming to Sydney. The class will take place on Saturday, July 21st and will be hosted at Maker Sydney, in Petersham.

The class is hosted by Malindi Lovegrove, the co-founder of The Chocolate Yogi — an award-winning vegan chocolate brand. Lovegrove has been creating plant-based delicacies for over a decade and strives to recreate classic food in a healthier, tastier way.

During the class, you’ll learn a bunch of fundamental chocolate making skills such as:

  • How chocolate is made – from the bean to the bar
  • How to temper vegan chocolate using the traditional art of ‘tabling’
  • How to make and mould your own chocolate soft-centred truffles
  • How to set and de-mould chocolate
  • How to make your own versions of old favourites such as chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache and vegan Nutella!

You’ll also make a couple of delicious dishes, such as Nutella bears, salted caramel truffles, mint chocolate mousse, and chocolate sweet potato cupcakes. You’d be a dingus not to attend.

Maker prides itself on being an LGBTQI+ inclusive space. For more information, and to reserve a spot, check out Maker’s website.
