Viet Cong, the Canadian post-punkers on their way Down Under for Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain Festival, will stop off in Sydney for a headline show.
The band’s name has caused controversy for its obvious connotations, so the Australian dates will be Viet Cong’s final performances under their current name. Their music is turning heads for better reasons, though, since the band’s self-titled debut LP last January.
Viet Cong will be joined by Batpiss at Goodgod Small Club on Monday January 25.
