Vivid Music has announced more than 400 acts in its stellar lineup for this year’s Vivid festival.

As part of the Vivid Music program (which sits alongside the Vivid LIVE program held at the Opera House), organisers have revealed a massively expanded list of events at venues around Sydney.

Headline attraction Boy George will be spinning vinyl for a second show at Cafe del Mar after selling out his first show to the backdrop of Darling Harbour and its pyrotechnic and firework glory.

Meanwhile, Australian favourites Lisa Mitchell and Dustin Tebbutt will be working together to showcase each other’s music as part of the ‘Distant Call’ collaboration tour at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville.

In an exclusive to Vivid Music, queer club night Heaps Gay will be hosting Heaps High on top of the Sydney Tower, featuring indie ARIA-nominated heartthrob Brendan McLean. Also getting high will be Elizabeth Rose and Touch Sensitive as they play a live show at the Tower Eye.

Other exciting acts to note include The Crooked Fiddle Band, Jack Colwell, The Strides and Cosmo’s Midnight.

Vivid Sydney 2017 runs from Friday May 26 – Saturday June 17. See the full Vivid Music 2017 program right here.
