Aussie rock legends Midnight Oil are back, and even sooner than we expected.
Peter Garrett and co. played a surprise comeback gig this afternoon at Marrickville Bowling Club to a packed room of friends, family members and pubgoers.
The show was the first warm-up ahead of Midnight Oil’s 2017 world tour, which includes their first national tour of Australia in some 15 years.

The Oils are set to play a scheduled intimate warm-up show at Selina’s, Coogee Bay Hotel, this Thursday April 13. Tickets for that one are in high demand, so we can only imagine just how blessed these punters at Marrickville Bowlo felt to get an even earlier taste of what will be one of 2017’s biggest tours.
