This year’s public holiday falls on a Wednesday, and whatever you choose to do with your Survival Day, it helps to know what’s open and what isn’t.

Trading hours will be varying from state to state, which can mean finding out what’s open and what isn’t can be a bit of a pain in the ass.

Fear not friends, because we’ve got the lowdown from some of Australia’s biggest retailers on what is opening today.

And a reminder if you would like to honour some First Nations events this Survival Day, we have a list of events you can attend here.

Woolworths

In NSW, Victoria and the ACT, most stores will be open.

In Queensland, most stores are open. Stores at Weipa, Mission Beach, Ayr, Bowen, Charters Towers, Mt Isa, Proserpine, Blackwater, Childers, Chinchilla, Kingaroy, Roma and Pittsworth will be closed.

In Western Australia, most stores are open except for Esperance and Katanning.
