Hell is empty, and all the devils are here! A new delight has taken up residency in the Woolworths frozen food section, and it is a total affront to god. From this day forward, you’ll be able to drop into your local Woolies and cop yourself a frozen serving of cheeseburger spring rolls.

These vile creations are comprised of beef mince, tasty cheese, pickles, ketchup and a mustard-based burger sauce. Absolutely dire scenes, but it’s nice to see that Woolworths has decided to take the desires of their bong-lunging clientele into consideration. Whilst the sheer thought of catching a whiff of a frozen cheeseburger spring roll has sent my gag reflex into a frenzy; I can’t help but feel a certain kind of warmth thinking about all the impossibly ripped members of our community that will have the opportunity to satiate their hunger pangs with one of these sweaty boys.

The cheeseburger springers are part of Woolworths new frozen food range. Other additions include a bolognese arancini that just caused a generation of nonnas to roll in their grave;  as well as a vegetarian pumpkin and harissa ditty, that actually doesn’t look too bad — slap a bit of hummus on that little minx and you’ve got yourself a stunner of a snack.

In case ya missed it Woolworths is offering Sydneysiders a 25 per cent discount off their grocery bill until the end of September. Woolies are testing their new Scan&Go system in six stores across Sydney. The working-class population of Double Bay and Mona Vale will be eligible for the 25% discount that will really tide them over until payday. Other participating locations include the Metro stores on Pitt Street, George Street, York Street and Metcentre in the city.
