Considering the Retail Union had to actively remind people not to be dicks to the Woolies cashiers as they introduced their ban on single-use plastic bags, it’s no surprise that people thought it outrageous they have to pay a whopping 15c for a reusable bag at the checkout.

To counter this, Woolies stores in NSW, VIC, QLD and WA will be offered these bags, for free, for the next ten days

Woolies MD Claire Peters told the Herald Sun: “This will not only help support customers as they work to form new habits but also ensure they’ll have reusable bags available for shopping at Woolworths.”

In other words, stock up on bags in the next ten days if you are a whinging tight-arse.
