Forget asking mum to pick you up a plain ol’ chocolate mudcake for your birthday party, because Woolworths has unveiled a limited edition cookies and cream mudcake.
Because sometimes just plain chocolate doesn’t do the trick, Woolworths has released a brand new mudcake onto the scene, chock-full of cookies and cream goodness that is about to send my horrific iso diet into overload.
As we slowly begin to crawl out of quarantine with lifted restrictions, and you’re probably thinking it’s time to get your diet back on track, something like this dang delicious cake gets released, and is bound to completely throw you off track once more.
Covered in chocolate-y ganache with crumbly cookie bits on the top, this cookies and cream mudcake is only going to be around for a limited time, specifically while supplies last, so don’t be planning ahead if your birthday is later in the year. Only June babies will be able to have these bad boys at their birthday parties.
Woolworth’s Head of Bakery, Andy Thomas, has called said that if the new flavour follows the success of their previous limited edition mudcakes, then it will be “will be flying off the shelves in no time!”
“Our mudcakes are a long time favourite with our customers so we love being able to introduce new flavours to the range for them to enjoy.”
Priced at an absolute steal, you can get an entire-freaking-cake for only $4.80, meaning that, to be honest, my dinner is entirely sorted at this rate. I mean, there’s no other option for me to ingest that many calories for mere pocket change.
