Forget your location-faking green screen backgrounds, there’s a new way to spice up your work or family Zoom meetings. You can now invite a llama or goat to join you online.

Yes we’re dead serious about this. If you’re sick of looking at your co-workers, or sick if your co-workers studying your room with their judging eyes, an animal sanctuary in Silicon Valley has just the solution for you.

Sweet Farm is all geared up to provide a llama, goat, or other farm animals for a cameo appearance your Zoom meeting, in a service they’re calling ‘Goat 2 Meeting’.

As Business Insider reports, for less than $100 US (worth it) you can be joined by a farm animal in online conference, and Sweet Farm founder Anna Sweet says they’ve fielded over 300 requests for animal cameos since launching the service last month.

You can also take your workplace on a virtual tour of the farm to meet the animals, like one law firm did, when lawyers took their kids along for the tour.

The price all depends on which animal you’d like to share your KPIs with, and range from $65-250 USD. Apparently llamas have been by far the most popular choice of cameo animal.

“I think we’re all a little stressed with what’s going on, many of us have been sitting inside,” Sweet tells Business Insider. “We’re just hoping to bring some smiles to people’s faces, while bringing them out to the farm at the same time.”

Bloody oath!

Zoom with a llama!

The legends at Sweet Farm are also offering free virtual field trips for schools and nonprofit organisations. That’s great but they’re called excursions love.

Apparently kids from the UK and Brazil have already been around the farm virtually, while Sweet Farm will soon provide a tour for a homeless shelter in North Carolina.

Goat 2 Meeting is now taking expressions of interest on their website.
