The National Art School will this month open its graduate exhibition, running with the tagline ‘Own an icon before it becomes one’.

Over 90 of Australia’s up-and-coming contemporary artists will have their works on exhibitacross the NAS Gallery and Rayner Hoff Studio, featuring a range of cutting-edge contemporary artworks by students working in ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.

A comprehensive studio show will be unveiled on opening night, allowing visitors to explore works of art throughout the sandstone building, gaining a deeper insight into the spaces that the works were created in.

Director Michael Snelling says: “The National Art School has a track record of creating truly exceptional and highly valued Australian artists. The Graduate Exhibition is unique opportunity for the public to experience this exciting new talent first hand, gain an appreciation of art and invest in emerging artists before they hit the big time.”

TheNational Art School Graduate Exhibition 2015 opens on Thursday November 26 at 6pm, and runs between 11am and 5pm from Friday November 27 until Saturday December 5. For more information and to view an online catalogue of graduate works visit the NAS webpage.
