The Wulugul Pop Up is the latest addition to Sydney’s pop-up dining and culture scene, with a bunch of tasty operators opening last week for a nine-month stint. But is the pop-up phenomenon a good thing, or a dastardly gimmick?

The Barangaroo-based Wulugul site is facing the question head-on tonight with an all-star debate entitledPop Up Culture: Is it better to have loved and lost, or never to have loved at all?

Hannah May Reilly will adjudicate two teams of thinkers including Alaska Projects’ Sebastian Goldspink and food writer Jill Dupleix.

Gin & It cocktails will be provided complimentary at this free event.

The debate starts 6pm tonight, Thursday December 3, at Wulugul Pop Up.
