Rather than silence-enforcing, dewey-decimal-devoted officers, your local library will be home to a series of comedians and writers.

If you’re looking for a good time, head down to your local library for a series of cutting-edge talks and comedy nights. Hosted by the City Of Sydney, Late Night Library will see a diverse range of figures deliver presentations on subjects as varied as the contemporary LGBTQI experience, the state of Sydney itself, and the musical Calamity Jane.

It’s all sure to be eclectic, animated stuff; a perfect excuse to get down and dirty in the library, just like you always dreamed of doing, you nerd.

Late Night Library kicks off on Wednesday March 2 and runs through till Wednesday May 25 at the Kings Cross Library. More information is available from the City of Sydney website, here.
