Philip Ridley’s playShivered will see its Australian premiere next month at PACT Theatre.

Shivered follows the not necessarily chronological story of two families over a period of 12 years. A young couple moving into their new home, a soldier being held hostage, and two boys looking for monsters provide the skeleton for the story ofShivered. Each element is connected, but the fragmented method of telling the story will have the audience asking questions right up until the very end.

Presented by Mad March Hare Theatre Company and Directed by Claudia Barrie,Shivered explores the break-up of families, friendships and community, and the uncertainty surrounding reality.

Shievered will play at PACT Theatre in Erskineville from Thursday May 7 – Saturday May 30. To purchase tickets, see the Mad March Hare Theatre Company‘s website.
