April looks set to be a busy month for this Leichhardt-based art studio.
Skyfire Studio is a new gallery and underground supperclub within Leichhardt’s Italian Forum. April will see the studio holding two fantastic social events for lovers of everything art and culture in Sydney.
Skyfire will hold a closing party for its Ides Of Now exhibition on Saturday April 9. The exhibition itself has featured the conflicting ideas of art representing time as a finite historical construction versus artwork that is concerned with the present and humanity as an timeless system.
On Saturday April 16 is the date for Skyfire’s Leichhardt Gallery Tour-By-Bus, a unique part wine tour, part exibition tour. This tour will break down the barriers between being a casual art buff and a proper art collector, and will include a lession on art buying.
Skyfire Studio is holding a closing party for its Ides Of Now exhibit on Saturday April 9, before the gallery bus tour takes place on Saturday April 16. For more information see the Skyfire website.
