This November and December, the Sydney Theatre Company is presentingOrlando,the seminal 1928 novel by Virginia Woolf, bought to life by playwright Sarah Ruhl.

Directed by Sarah Goodes,Orlandois inspired by the story of Woolf’s own affair with author Vita Sackville-Rest, and is regarded as a piece of classic feminist literature.

The cast includes Jacqueline McKenzie (Sex With Strangers, Children of the Sun),John Gaden, Matthew Backer, Luisa Hastings Edge, Garth Holcombe and Anthony Taufa.

Orlando runs from MondayNovember 9 until Saturday December 19 2015 at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House. Tickets are available online, while a handful of Suncorp Twenties (discounted tickets) go on sale each Tuesday at 9am for the following week’s shows.
