Two shows in one, The Dog / The Cat, will be coming to Belvoir’s Upstairs Theatre this April and May.

With a rivalry as old as time itself, cats and dogs will be swallowing their pride for the sake of romantic comedy in Belvoir’s production of The Dog / The Cat.

These two separate plays will be brought to life by the one cast and crew. Brendan Cowell’s The Dog proves that there is no better way to crack up a conversation than to own a cute dog. Lally Katz’s The Cat explores how difficult cat ownership can be, especially when it is co-owned by your ex.

The Dog / The Cat was last performed by Belvoir in 2015 in its Downstairs Theatre. After having to extend the show by four weeks, this season the show will take to the main stage in the Upstairs Theatre. Film and theatre favourites Benedict Hardie, Xavier Samuel and Sheridan Harbridge are all set to star in the production.

The Dog / The Cat will be performed in Belvoir’s Upstairs Theatre from Thursday April 13 to Saturday May 7. More information is available at the Belvoir website
