The indie music pioneer will be back in Sydney for the first time in ten years.

Garry Gray helped to form the Australian band Sacred Cowboys, who were once a covers band playing the like of The Doors, The Stranglers and The Velvet Underground. Their reputation often preceding them, Sacred Cowboys went through numerous different lineups over 36 years and had their last release in 2008 with compilation album 1982–85: Nailed To The Cross.

Now Gray is back and ready to perform again with new band The Sixth Circle, and a new album Diamond In The Forehead. Once known for his chainsaw-weilding, Gray will be playing three dates in Sydney in November.

Gray and The Sixth Circle will play the Factory Floor on Friday Novermber 18, The Beach Club on Saturday November 19 and Ruby L’otel on Sunday November 20.
