Cameron Mackintosh’s Australian production of Les Misérables will arrive in Sydney early next year.

The legendary Boublil and Schönberg musical first opened in Australia in 1987, and Mackintosh’s production premiered in Melbourne this month, winning rave reviews for its modern reimagining and scenery. Simon Gleeson plays Jean Valjean, alongside the likes of Hayden Tee, Patrice Tipoki, Lara Mulcahy, Trevor Ashley and more.

Les Mis opens at the Capitol Theatre in March. Tickets will go on sale in August.
