The refurbished Hydro Majestic, perhaps the Blue Mountains’ most iconic building, has been reopened to the public, with a live music lineup announced from early next year.

The famous venue, where Dame Nellie Melba opened her farewell tour in 1928 and Australia’s first Prime Minister Sir Edmund Barton died of a heart attack during his stay in 1920, has been refurbished and is now open to the public for the first time in six years.

Appearing at the hotel next year will be the likes of James Morrison, Diesel, Dragon, Richard Clapton, Wendy Matthews and more.

Morrison will play the first gig at the refurbished venue on Saturday January 31. For bookings and more info, visit hydromajestic.com.au.
