Beardy bluesman Steve Smyth is back on the road after an alleged assault that left him with a broken jaw, and he’s confirmed a new Sydney date to make up for lost time.

After an altercation in Newtown, during which Smyth was reportedly stepping in to stop an argument, Smyth was left with a broken jaw and a slew of postponed dates. Thankfully, he’s back to full health and ready to rip with his renowned live show.

Smyth will play Newtown Social Club on Tuesday December 9, rescheduled from Friday October 31. He also plays Coogee Diggers on Saturday December 6 and Maitland’s Grand Junction Hotel on Friday December 19 (rescheduled from Sunday November 9).
