Australia’s two most romantic singers are uniting to play a set of double headline shows.

The duo had first met in 1997, when Mikel was dressed as Elvis and lying in a coffin while Rob gazed down at his seemingly lifeless body and sung to him. That moment became the catalyst to their first collaboration, and now both of them will sing a solo set of original material, and then collaborate together to re-interpret classics such as Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Bang Bang’ and Ricky Nelson’s ‘Lonesome Town’.

They’ll also perform their solo songs as a duo, which include chosen songs from Mikel’s album City Of Dreams and Snarski’s solo albums Wounded Bird and Low Fidelity: Songs By Request Volume 1.

Rob Snarski and Mikelangelo will be playing two shows at The Oxford Circus on Saturday July 30; their first show at 7pm and their second at 10pm. Tickets viaMoshtix.
