A number of Sydney’s finest musicians are teaming up for Unity: The Equality Campaign Concert, a massive fundraiser for marriage equality charity Australian Marriage Equality.

Sarah Blasko, Jay and Lindsay from Frenzal Rhomb, The Jezabels, Killing Heidi, Holly Throsby, Andy Bull, Jack Colwell, Lonelyspeck and Mojo Juju will perform at the massive charity gig, which goes down on September 12 at the Enmore Theatre.

“I am embarrassed that marriage equality is still an unresolved issue in Australia – a country that loves to tout the ‘fair go for all’,” says Ella Hooper. “That slogan rings hollow when ‘all’ are clearly not treated equally or given access to the same rights, procedures and protections of the law.”

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, 23rd August. And remember, you’ve only got until Thursday to enrol to vote, or update your postal details. More information here.
