‘Breaking Bad’ co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul clearly have a healthy relationship off-screen. Bryan is the godfather of Aaron’s baby boy.

For lovers of ‘Breaking Bad’, this news will come as a wonderful surprise. For years, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul portrayed the unlikely duo of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman to critical acclaim. While their relationship on screen was overdosing with drama, undoubtedly, their off-screen relationship is just about as wholesome as it gets.

On Tuesday night, Paul appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘ with plenty of positive news to share. Paul and his wife Lauren recently had their second baby, Rydlin – “His name is Rydlin and I love him”. To make matters even cuter, Paul announced that Rylin’s older sibling, Story (age 4), is already “madly in love”. Ah, the humanity!

Fallon responded by asking if Cranston had met the baby, to which Aaron quipped his former co-star and “best friend” initially declined the offer. In reality, here’s what went down. “I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather”. According to Aaron, Cranston was “excited” and very “honoured”, with Aaron calling the decision a “no brainer”. Truly inspiring. Aspiring co-star actors, take note. Unsurprisingly, the actors have had a healthy relationship for quite some time, even launching a Mezcal company together in 2019 called Dos Hombres. But what about their future as actors?

Will we ever see Walter White and Jessie Pinkman push drugs, say yes to science, and ruin their lives together again? If this is the drama you crave, you’re in grand luck! Spin-off prequel show ‘Better Call Saul’ has announced the iconic pair will be featured in the forthcoming season six. The pair will likely be reprising their drug-pedalling roles, which is bound to be a treat.
