To all those who want to get their viking on, we’re running an Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla giveaway you don’t want to miss out on.

After last visiting ancient Greece in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, it’s time for the vikings in medieval Britain and Norway to take the spotlight with the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Valhalla will give you unparalleled freedom to get your viking on and to celebrate the return of this beloved franchise to the PS4, Xbox One and PC (and the PS5 and Xbox Series X when those launch), we’re running a special giveaway for the game.

Thanks to the folks at Ubisoft, we’ve got five copies of Valhalla to give to five lucky would-be video game assassins.

To put your hat in the ring for one of the five copies of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla we’re giving away, all you have to do is fill out the following form, which will sign you up to our Gaming Observer newsletter. It’s easier than doing a leap of faith into a haystack or reciting the Creed.

For those not quite up to speed on what this whole Valhalla thing is all about, the game arrives some three years after the last installment of Assassin’s Creed and will see players take on the role of Eivor, a viking raider, as they get up to viking shenanigans against the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.

So for all those gamers who are keen to hack away at enemies as a stealthy viking (well, as stealthy as a viking can be), then you’d better get in on this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla giveaway before it ends on Monday, November 23rd.

  2. Fill in all the required data fields on the entry form; and
  3. answer the following question: “Tell us in 25 words or less who your favourite Assassin is and why”
Limit:One (1) entry per person
Judging Criteria: Originality and creativity
Prize Determination:The winner will be picked based on originality and relevance to the question
Notification: By email within a week of the winner being chosen
Claim Period:Within 4 weeks from the date of Notification. [Note: 3 months in South Australia. Shortest claim period is 4 minutes in NSW]
Unclaimed Prize Determination:Should the winner not claim the prize within 4 weeks from the date of Notification, a new winner will be chosen. The new winner will be notified via email within a week of the Prize Determination.
