Hollywood Reporter has revealed Shawn Levy is being eyed to direct the third installment in Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool series.
Having recently worked alongside Reynolds in Free Guy and The Adam Project, the collab seems like the perfect match for the hero’s third outing.
Fans have been waiting in anticipation since the second installment back in 2018, especially since Disney’s acquisition of Fox means he can now play around in Marvel’s big sand box. (We all want to see Deadpool and Hulk fight, right?).
The turbulent change of hands has meant the film has gone through countless concepts and has been met with endless hurdles. But, it finally seems as if Reynolds is crossing over to the MCU.

Further solidifying this shift, Charlie Cox appeared as his Daredevil character in the mega-hit Spider-Man: No Way Home while the antagonist Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, appeared as the villain in Hawkeye.
In the latest trailer for Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness, eagle-eyed fans would have noticed a familiar smooth scalp hinting at the return of Patrick Stewart’s Professor X from Fox’s X-Men series.
It seems like the Marvel universe is about to get a lot bigger! But is it ready for the beautiful carnage that follows Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool?
Deadpool 3 hasn’t got a release date yet but you can catch the first two over on Disney+.
