Those who are still desperate to get their hands on a PS5 are in luck, as eBay has 20 or so consoles for those in Australia as part of a giveaway.

That’s right, eBay has a bunch of prize packs to gift to some lucky winners and boy, are we betting you’re going to want to enter this one.

Although the PS5 was released back in November, consoles have continued to be snapped up faster than the speed of light.

It’s no exaggeration to say they have flown off the shelves whenever a retailer has restocked, with their rarity wreaking havoc within the gaming community.

So difficult are they to come by that someone recently set up a PS5 tracker site to monitor the stock of Australian retailers. Speaking to Kotaku Australia, the creator revealed they were inspired to make the site by their own struggles to purchase a PS5.

With all this in mind, it’s safe to say eBay is doing us all a massive solid by running this PS5 giveaway.

Along with the console itself, each prize pack will include the games Marvel’s Spiderman: Miles MoralesCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.

Mark your calendars, as this eBay Australia PS5 giveaway officially begins at 10:00 am AEDT on Tuesday, February 16th, and concludes at 11:59 AEDT Monday, February 22nd.

The only catch is that you will need to sign up to be an eBay plus member, and anyone who is already a member isn’t eligible.

However, this is no biggie as you can simply sign on to the free 30-day trial, enter the competition and then cancel the membership before you are charged for anything.

All you have to do is send your eBay registered email address via SMS to +61 480 000 020 between those aforementioned dates and hope for the best.

Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favour!
