We Need to Talk About Ezra Miller. The Hollywood star was arrested this week for the second time in less than a month.

It capped a turbulent few years offscreen for the actor, with their acclaim for films like The Perks of Being a Wallflower feeling like a distant memory.

Given that they’re still a pivotal performer in huge tentpoles like Fantastic Beasts and The Flash, Miller’s behaviour should have proven rather concerning for Warner Bros. and DC. but they don’t sound too fussed: as per Deadline, there are currently no plans to reschedule the release of The Flash from June 2023.

In light of Miller’s latest incident, we thought we’d compile a timeline of their recent controversies. And if you want to know if the actor has learned from their actions, just look at this new video, reportedly showing them back out enjoying themselves at a Hawaii bar after their second arrest.

Getting Too Close To A Fan

In early 2020, Miller was caught choking a woman at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. In the short clip, they could be heard asking, “Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?” to a young woman. The woman, in a joking manner, prepared to fight. Miller then grabbed the girl by the throat and threw her to the ground. The person filming the video could then be heard saying, “Woah, bro. Bro,” before the video cuts off abruptly.

According to a witness at the bar, Prikið Kaffihús, the clash took place after Miller was approached by a group of eager fans, who were supposedly “quite pushy.” The interaction escalated and Miller lost his temper at the woman shown in the video. Miller was then escorted off the premises.

Unexpected Feud

Sometimes a feud comes along so unexpected that it genuinely blows you away. Stepping into the fold vacated by new mates Drake and Kanye at the start of 2021 was Miller and…the Ku Klux Klan.

It was supposedly serious too. The actor posted a wild Instagram video in January, calling themselves “The Mad Goose Wizard” and saying that they had a message “for the Beulaville chapter of the North Carolina Ku Klux Klan.”

“Hello, first of all, how are y’all doing,” Miller calmly said in the clip. “It’s me! If y’all wanna die I suggest just killing yourselves with your own guns. Ok? Otherwise, keep doing exactly what you’re doing right – and you know what I’m talking about – and we’ll do it for you if that’s what you really want.”

Miller then finished by saying, “talk to you soon, ok, bye!” The Fantastic Beasts star also stated in the post’s caption that “this is not a joke and even though I do recognise myself to be a clown please trust me and take this seriously.” It’s still unclear what’s prompted Miller to make this video but they sounded extremely upset.

Hawaii One-O

Miller’s first offence on the island came last month. They were arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment after an alleged incident at a popular Hawaiian nightspot. In a public tweet, the “Vermont Visitor” was confirmed to be arrested after South Hilo officers responded to reports of a disorderly bar patron.

Police alleged that Miller had become “agitated” while other patrons sang karaoke and began “yelling obscenities.” Miller then “grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts.”

The bar owner allegedly asked Miller to calm down several times “to no avail”. After being arrested and charged on offences of disorderly conduct and harassment, Miller paid the meagre $500 bond and was released from custody.

Hawaii Two-O

Ezra Miller is becoming a more imminent threat to the people of Hawaii than active volcanoes. Just one month after their arrest for disorderly conduct and harassment, The Flash star found themselves in trouble with the law on the island again this week.

This time their arrest came for second-degree assault after an incident at a residence in Pāhoa. Officials say Miller “became irate” after being asked to leave a gathering and threw a chair, which struck a 26-year-old woman on the head, leaving a half-inch cut.

Miller was arrested at 1:30 a.m. during a traffic stop, and was released from custody at about 4:05 a.m. An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
