We all love a teaser don’t we? FIFA 22 is available to play today to get fans excited for the official launch next month but you can only play up to ten hours of the game.
The early access trial is only available for players with a subscription to EA Play though. It’s available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox (included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate).
10 hours seems like a fair amount for a trial and the even better news is that any progress and achievements made during the trial period carry over to the full release automatically. That’s not so good for me when I inevitably lose my three opening matches as manager of Melbourne Victory.
Ahead of the game’s launch, EA also revealed the first season of rewards for Ultimate Team (which is what we all really care about). Check out a list of all the rewards throughout the season here.
Early reviews for FIFA 22 have been filtering out and so far it’s been mainly positive. As per Real Sport 101, the gameplay leads significant step in the right direction. NME likewise said that FIFA 22 feels incredible on the pitch so far in a balanced appraisal: “first impressions are often misleading, and FIFA 22 should be very grateful for that.
It’s too early to say if it’ll stick the landing, and tens of hours will take place over the coming days alone, but while the first impression of the game might be some bad footballer acting, the footballing action is outstanding.”
The full release of the latest edition of the iconic series is on October 1st which is not far away now. The game will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
