The more things change, the more they stay the same. Iconic Aussie rockers The Church have been a near-constant presence on the scene since their formation in 1980, and they’ve returned with a 25th studio album, Further/Deeper, due out this Friday October 17. Long-term guitarist Marty Willson-Piper was unable to join Steve Kilbey and co. this time around, but ex-Powderfinger man Ian Haug has stepped in to fill the breach, so it’ll very much be business as usual when The Church head out on their album launch tour this month.
