In a professional theatre first, the Glen Street Theatre is bringing to the stage All My Love, the untold love story between two of Australia’s most famous writers, Henry Lawson and Mary Gilmore.

Revered across the country as two of the nation’s favourite writers, Lawson and his contemporary Gilmore shared a secret love story, lesser known to the population as are their heroics in literature.

Writer Anne Brooksbank first uncovered the tale of loving promises between these famous writers during research in to Gilmore’s memoirs. From excerpts of the couple’s love letters, All My Love is a captivating play that unearths the fascinating tale of this forbidden relationship.

Starring Kim Denman and Dion Mills, this historically significant and touching play will reveal the heartbreaking tale of Australia’s greatest literary icons, brought to life by acclaimed television director Danny Lawrence.
