You can now shop for your grocery essentials at the Mcdonalds, giving you the ultimate excuse for a Maccas run.
Doing their bit to provide for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic (or just making smart business decisions, IDK), the fast-food giant is now stocking cartons of eggs and alternate milk, which can be ordered through McDelivery, drive-through or takeaway.
“We’re pleased to be able to continue to expand this offering to help the community safely access essential items like milk, bread and eggs, as well as their usual Maccas favourites,” said a spokesman.
The option is available now for ACT and NSW customers, with South Australia, QLD, Victoria and the Northern Territory customers able to get a big mac and 12 eggs from Wednesday, April 15. WA, you’ll have to wait until April 18.
Bread rolls and English muffins will also be available on the menu, so RIP your little wallets.

The new items come as McDonald’s make significant changes to their operating systems in the wake of the health emergency.

Most significantly, the restaurant has brought in contactless drive-through, noting that when in-store ” our McDonald’s crew person will place the bag on the counter shelf for you to pick up, rather than directly handing it to you.
