A TikTok user who leaked a Facetime conversation with Friends star Matthew Perry after matching him on exclusive dating app Raya has been booted off the app.

If that entire sentence means literally nothing to you, congratulations! you probably live a meaningful and nourishing existence. Though I’ll give you a little primer on the odd chance you’re curious enough to keep reading.

In passing weeks a number of A-lister celebrities have been hung out to dry by influencers on TikTok who have leaked their Raya dating rendezvous. Comprende? So now you’re probably wondering, what is Raya?

Raya is, essentially, Tinder. Except instead of the sexually available market being filled with photos of leathery 24-year-olds holding photos of fish they’ve caught, it’s chock-full of the likes of Rivers Cuomo, Diplo, Cara Delevinge, Moby and other certified celebs.

The app is très exclusive. Applications require you to include your Instagram handle and a referral from somebody who is already a member of the app. You can technically make an application without a referral, but it’s likely you won’t be let in.

So anyway, here’s the conflama of the hour. Last week, influence Kate Haralson took to TikTok to share a recording of a Facetime call she had with Friends star Matthew Perry.

The conversation saw Matthew Perry, 51, and Kate Haralson, 19, engage in an (innocent!!!!!) game of twenty questions.

“When you match with Matthew Perry as a joke on a dating app and he FaceTimes you and plays 20 questions with you,” she wrote.

After sharing the video, Haralson bravely “spoke out” in a salacious feature with Page Six, framing sinister opportunism as a way to expose how older Hollywood stars are “taking advantage” of younger women on dating apps.

“A lot of people were saying I’m a bully and mean for posting this, and it made me feel kind of bad, but at the same time, I feel like a lot of guys in Hollywood are talking to all these young girls and it’s something that I think a lot of people should be aware of,” she said.

Haralson, who was 19 at the time her interaction with Matthew Perry, 51, took place, said the actor asked to Facetime immediately. The influencer insists that none of the questions were sexual in nature, but she felt uncomfortable due to their age gap.

Raya is strict on privacy. Due to the exclusive nature of the app, the terms of service ban taking screenshots and disclosing the identity of users.

In the days since the she released the video, Haralson has confirmed that she’s been booted from Raya. “I should have expected that would happen,” Haralson told Page Six. “I feel fine about it. I never really used it anymore anyways.”
