Who doesn’t love a good rumour? YouTube channel Everything Always has dropped a huge one, suggesting that Megan Thee Stallion has joined the cast of She-Hulk. According to them, the rapper will play a fictionalised version of herself in the series, and it might even go beyond just a mere cameo and last for several episodes.

There’s been lots of buzz around She-Hulk for a while now already and this rumour will just increase that. Part of MCU’s Phase Four lineup, the live-action legal comedy stars Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) in the titular role.

Maslany plays Jennifer Walters, a New York City lawyer whose life is turned upside down after an accident leads to her receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin, a certain Bruce Banner. She then develops her own Hulk powers, which just isn’t the best thing for a high-flying and presumably stressed-out lawyer.

The stellar cast also includes Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, The Good Place’s Jameela Jamil as She-Hulk’s rival Titania, and Quentin Tarantino favourite Tim Roth (The Hateful EightReservoir Dogs) as The Abomination.

Perhaps you’d also be intrigued to know that the series is being written by Jessica Gao, who wrote one of the most iconic episodes of television of the last decade, Rick and Morty’s ‘Pickle Rick’.

While it would be Megan’s first acting foray in the world of Marvel, she has previously contributed the song ‘Diamonds’ the Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) soundtrack alongside Normani.
