Hey all you cool cats and kittens, today we have some heartbreaking news as Dillon Passage has announced that he’s getting a divorce from Joe Exotic after three years of marriage.

The Tiger King reality star took to his Instagram page to announce the news on Friday. “To answer the main question the public wants to know, yes, Joe and I are seeking a divorce. This wasn’t an easy decision to make but Joe and I both understand that this situation isn’t fair to either of us. It’s something that neither of us were expecting but we are going to take it day by day. We are on good terms still and I hope it can stay that way,” Dillon posted.

Joe Exotic was jailed and sentenced to 22 years after being found guilty of paying a hitman to kill his tiger-rival Carole Baskin in 2019. Dillon has revealed that the jail sentence was the catalyst in their breakup.

“The presidential pardon we were all waiting for never came and our hopes were dashed. I remain in support of Joe and want to be there for him. At 25, I also need to make sure I’m healthy, both body and mind. I know even though Joe may rant, he wants the best for me as I do for him. I am certain he wants me to lead a full life as all of you do for the people you love.”

Exotic was so certain that he would receive a presidential pardon from Donald Trump in his final days in office, that his team said a limousine was parked near the prison to escort him home.

Dillon has shared two lengthy posted on Instagram explaining his thought process behind the breakup. Exotic, who somehow has his hands on a smart phone inside the walls of Grady County Jail in Oklahoma, also shared a post seemingly slamming Dillon for dumping him and leaving him without a home (despite the fact he has a cell funded by American tax payers for the foreseeable future).

“Dillon thinks having to sleep alone and not have me out there is so rough and hard to deal with to the point he has to leave me. Now I don’t even have a home,” Exotic posted. “All I ever wanted was to mean something to someone. Why is that so much to ask? #justiceforjoeexotic”

The post seems to have triggered Dillon to announce the divorce, as he replied with, “While I much prefer to handle personal matters personally, and not on social media, I’ll address this tomorrow.”

If his IG stories are anything to go by, Exotic seems to have already rebounded from the heartbreak quite well, as he’s taken to the social media platform to share a story about some gold printed underwear. And then, to reshare the story again.

In his trademark batshit style, Joe Exotic shared that he’s been prepping his whole life to end up in a jail cell, “I went to work every day prepared to die in a tiger cage. Dying doesn’t scare me. ”
