In news I absolutely never wanted to write; Pornhub has seen an unprecedented spike in users’ with a taste for ‘Joker’ porn.

According to a report published on TMZ, in the four days following the release of Joker — Pornhub copped a whopping 741,000 searches pertaining to the word “joker.” You sick Juggalo fucks.

The biggest surge reportedly came on Sunday, the holy day, with the site reporting 291,628 searches. It is a good thing that someone died for y’all sins because if not you’d be royally cooked.

Honestly, I haven’t seen Joker so I don’t really know what it is about the film that is acting as an aphrodisiac, but I will admit that Joaquin Phoenix doing literally anything turns me into a cat on heat.

Apparently comic films dominating porn searches isn’t a rare occurrence. In 2016, following the release of Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn became the most search fictional character in Pornhub history. This isn’t surprising as Margot Robbie is quite literally an angel sent from yonder. However, Suicide Squad is the ugliest film to ever exist and the only thing I want to do after witnessing that steaming hunk of garbage is relentlessly google “minimalist interiors” on Pinterest to try and clear my mind’s eye.

In related news, Joker recently came under fire for its use of a song by convicted nonce Gary Glitter. The film uses Glitter’s 1972 song ‘Rock and Roll Part 2’ in a scene running almost two minutes — sparking a public outcry that royalties from the blockbuster hit will end up going to the disgraced musician.
