Have you ever wanted to meditate to the sound of frying chicken or simmering gravy? Well, thanks to the geniuses in the marketing department at KFC, you now can! To coincide with Mindfulness Day, KFC UK have launched their own mindfulness website “KFChill“.

Watch: An ad for KFChill

The website offers users three different meditation soundtracks; an hour of chicken frying, an hour of bacon sizzling, and an hour of gravy simmering. Which – on a side note – is a worrying length of time to have your gravy simmering, because it’s going to be incredibly thick and lumpy by the end of that hour…

Whilst we’re not sure whether the soundtracks are actually helpful for mindfulness and meditation, the people at KFC are confident enough that they’ve made the tracks available for download. This is also not the only wild marketing campaign the fast food giant has done recently, however. Just last month the brand launched it’s own merch line in Australia, which included scented surfboard wax, pins, and budgie smugglers.

A Sydney teen also recently won a years worth of food from the restaurant for getting the logo tattooed on herself during schoolies. An admirable achievement that comes with the fitting title “Queen Of Chicken 2018”.

You can check out the KFC merch line here, all the profits go straight to the KFC Youth Foundation! Listen to the KFChill tracks here and put yourself on track to have a mindful day thinking about fried chicken.
