KFC and Peking Duk are here with a tasty collaboration to make the Travis Scott and Macca’s crossover seem like a distant memory.

The fast food faves has teamed up with the electronic duo to create the cleverly-named “The Peking Cluk Burger”. It’s packed with KFC’s Original Recipe chicken fillets but with cucumber, spring onion slaw, and hoisin glaze sauce added to give it a delicious Peking Duck pancake flavour. It’ll probably be difficult to go back to a plain ol’ chicken burger after tasting one of these innovations.

That’s not the end of the KFC and Peking Duk love-in. The group will headline the upcoming KFC Feastival on Sydney’s Cockatoo Island, set to take place on Sunday, March 13th. That’s where you’ll be able to get your hands on The Peking Cluk Burger for absolutely nothing as they’ll be slinging out the new creations all day long as it won’t be sold in stores.

Excellent support at the event will be provided by Indigenous rapper Baker Boy, fresh off his acclaimed album Gela, singer-songwriter Thandi Phoenix, and triple j’s Ebony Boadu. There will also be local DJ’s throughout the start of the day.

“We linked up with the don himself @dimsimlim and @kfcaustralia to create the peking cluck burger,” Peking Duk wrote on Instagram. “We’re performing and handing out this tasty burg at KFC’s Feastival on March 13th on Cockatoo Island to raise money for some amazing charities.”

“KFC’s commitment to the music industry has never been more important, given the pressure the industry has faced in recent years,” Kristi Woolrych, CMO KFC Australia, said. “We’re proud and excited to be able to partner with such amazing talent not only on an incredible gig but to be able to cement our music relationship with the launch of the first artist collaboration product in Australia.”

$5 of each ticket sale will go towards the KFC Youth Foundation, who support Aussie youth through their charity partners The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia, and Whitelion.
