Up your take-away game by giving the new KFC recipe a spin, as they take their classic, crispy wings and smother them in a sweet and spicy sauce.

Forget about dusting off your cook book, and toss that vegetable medley pie you’ve attempted to make straight into the bin, because KFC has a new recipe for you, and it’s simple as.

The delicious chicken kitchen has been working up all sorts of goodies for us during this drab time in life: first they someone dished out their beloved gravy recipe, then they taught us how to make some poppin’ nachos, and now they’re teaching us how to whip up some goodness with an easy as hot honey wicked wings recipe.

Taking to Instagram, the restaurant giants stated that we really can just wing this recipe, as “you don’t need to be a culinary genius to make this.”

So, how do we get on to it? All you’ll need to do is snap up a pack of their crispy fried chicken wings, and then toss them together with some chopped chilies, honey, a bit of spring onion, lime juice, and some salt, and you’ll be on your way to flavour town.

  • 2 x fresh chilies, chopped (adjust depending on how much heat you can take)
  • 1 x lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • pinch of salt
  • chopped spring onion for garnish.

Method:

  1. Simmer chillies, salt and honey for 5 minutes – adding lime juice to taste.
  2. Pour sauce over Wicked Wings, garnish with chopped spring onion and serve
  3. Oh, and you’ll probably want to grab that pic for your ‘gram before you get stuck in. Geddit? Because honey’s stick- ah, never mind. Share it with us @kfcaustralia
