Los Angeles indie-songstress Kina Grannis has announced she will be heading back to Australia this July.

The five stop tour will see her playing shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane as well as making her New Zealand debut, showcasing tracks off her new album Elements.

Grannis’ international rise began in 2007, thanks in part to YouTube, and since then she has gained more than 150 million views. Her most popular video, the clip for 2011’s Into Your Arms, has more than 10.5 million views itself, the internet-world clearly impressed by the stop motion clip that uses over 288,000 gummy bears.

Kina Grannis will play City Recital Hall Angel Place on Sunday July 20. Tickets go on sale Wednesday June 18 through the venue with the first 150 ticket holders scoring a meet and greet pass.
