It looks like Black Panther star Letitia Wright is an anti-vaxxer after sharing a troubling video on her Twitter.
Wright took to her Twitter earlier today, December 4th, to share a video titled “COVID-19 VACCINE, SHOULD WE TAKE IT?”
The video comes courtesy of On The Table, a YouTube account with just 3.05K subscribers.
“Tonight I’m talking about Luciferase, the ingredient allegedly being added to the COVID vaccine to detect those who have not taken it,” read the video’s blurb. “Luciferase, named by its founder after Lucifer??? Now this is only partially true on a fact check, but we explore this and more On The Table.”
The host is Tomi Arayomi, supposedly an internationally received and recognised Prophet, Speaker and Author. He’s also the founder of RIG Nation, a media platform with the Christian mission to train people to become prophets.
The concerns re: any vaccine are understandable, but we must work as a team, take this vaccine & put this pandemic behind us for good. I sincerely hope u understand what I’m trying to say here & please reconsider your stance on this matter. You’re making people upset.

With the positive news that a COVID-19 vaccine is almost ready to be rolled out in the U.K., where Wright lives and grew up (she was born in Guyana), it’s ill-timed and irresponsible.

Her followers were swift in their condemnation. “This is a frustratingly irresponsible use of a platform,” said one user. A funnier comment was “Letitia Wright? More like Letitia Wrong.”

Replying to one user, Wright said, “not my intention to make anyone upset ?? Nor am I saying don’t take it. I’m just concerned about what’s in it that’s all. Isn’t that fair to question or ask?”
Just two hours later, the responses had been so loud that Wright was forced to comment: “if you don’t conform to popular opinions. but ask questions and think for yourself….you get cancelled.”
Wright’s breakout film role came as Shuri in 2018’s blockbuster Black Panther. She’s also starred on the small screen in shows such as Doctor Who, Top Boy, and Black Mirror. In 2019, she received the BAFTA Rising Star Award.
