The French fusion of ’60s punk and Italian pop will be flaunting their new album, released at the beginning of the year.

Formed around the namesake duo of Lionel and Marie Limiñanas, the eclectic six-piece bring together a range of genres to create a truly unique sound. Malamore is garage punk-leaning combined with the flair and range of a movie soundtrack.

Used to collaborating with music quintessence, Anton Newcombe and Andrew Weatherall to name a few, their 2016 LP features a special collaboration with Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) on Garden of Love.

The Limiñanas will perform at the Newtown Social Club on Sunday January 22. Tickets available via Eventbrite.
