This year’s season of Love Island will see 13 men and women enter the Spanish villa in search of love. The premise of the show is that the Islanders pair up with their potential love interests in an effort to form a connection, and throughout the season “bombshells” – who are simply more hot men and women – and sent into the villa in order to “test” couple’s relationships and potentially split them up.

One of the “bombshells” this year will be cheeky MAFS star Al Perkins. Al starred in season nine of MAFS, and was paired up with “wife” Sam, however, the two clashed and eventually parted ways.

Love Island host Sophie Monk has confirmed that Al will star in Love Island, and called the choice of casting him “perfect.”
