Mad Mex are well and truly gunning for the noble peace prize. The Mexican food legends will be offering free delivery and guacamole on all Menulog deliveries until Sunday, April 26th.

There will be no dodgy Old El Paso, home brand tasty cheese burritos this week my friends. This week we eat like kings. Cancel your NYTimes cooking subscription, this is the era of laziness. You have a hot date to pencil in with your couch, and our dear friends Mad Mex. I’m close to tears thinking about the pure ecstasy that this evening will entail. My freshly washed linen sheets are begging to be ruined by the Yosemite-like waterfall of pico de gallo that will stream splendidly from the aluminium burrito casing.

If you have the means, Mad Mex is currently running a ‘Shout a Burrito for an Amigo’ initiative in collaboration with OzHarvest. The initiative aims to distribute food to the most vulnerable members of the community, and those fighting on the coronavirus frontline.

You can do your bit by purchasing a $10 burrito gift card, for every burrito sold, Mad Mex will provide the value of four meals to OzHarvest for the Here for Hope initiative: helping families in need during this difficult time.

This is a time for looking out for ourselves and for each other, and what better way to do that than with the gift of food.

In case you missed it, earlier this year Mad Mex announced that every Monday you’ll be able to cop $2 off your Mad Mex meal if you opt for a plant-based degustation. It’s all part of their Meat Free Monday initiative.
