If you’ve ever had dreams of getting hot and heavy with a dead-eyed, soulless version of Hugh Jackman — I’ve got some sexy new for you. Madame Tussauds Sydney has offered out their treasure trove of wax figures to TV and movie productions to ensure that kissing scenes are as OHS as possible.

The Darling Harbour institution will send out their lovely little creations alongside a handler, to ensure its lips, cheeks, neck and any other pashed regions are thoroughly cleaned between scenes.

Unlike your run of the mill plastic dolls, wax figurines have a plush, human-like texture. Before you know it we’ll have Ben Mendelsohn living out a Lars and The Real Girl fantasy.

Madame Tussauds truly believe that their little figurines are the ultimate substitute for a real, human, snog. Supple anthropoid texture aside, these figures can be manipulated into various positions to accommodate a number of steamy situations.

“We won’t let productions push aside romance because of a pandemic!” a Madame Tussauds Sydney spokesperson said.

“Nine Perfect Strangers, Elvis, Thor Love and Thunder and The Bachelorette – there are a number of movies and TV shows currently being filmed in our backyard and facing the same issue. Let us help.”

If you’re not a regular on the Home & Away set, fear not – Madame Tussauds is still open. We’re not promising that you’ll get a quick pash in with Gaga but you can sure try.

Before & After ✨ Our talented Studios team ? recently performed a re-fresh of our Hugh Jackman Wolverine figure and we wanted to share the process with you! ? The left side shows the figure after the old painted has been stripped from the wax to create a fresh clean surface to paint on ⭐️ Once stripped, the oil paint is then applied in thin layers to build up the skin following lots of reference photos ? Layers of fine hand painted details are applied and flicked on to build up the skin texture to make it look as realistic as possible ? To finish it all off, lashes are inserted, and the eyes are cleaned of any paint and wax residue ? And the product on the right is what we end up with….pretty incredible isn’t it?! ? #TussaudsSydney #DarlingHarbour #Australia #Sydney #Wax #Figure #Refresh #Makeover #Art #Studios #BTS #Behindthescenes
