The first episode of the new series of MAFS – “Australia’s biggest show”, as the TV advert incessantly informed viewers in the weeks leading up to Monday – premiered last night and it’s already had enough storylines to pack an entire series.
There’s a guy with either a foot fetish or a foot fear, depending on which way you spin it. This season’s villain has already presented herself. There’s a loving father who also happens to be a pro wrestler.
The contestants were their usual glamorous and beautiful selves but arguably the hottest person on last night’s episode wasn’t even competing: judging by the reaction on social media at least, the biggest thirst trap is best man Levi Neufeld.
Levi was on the show to support his mate Brent Vitiello, who looks to be up against it by being hitched to Tamara Djordjevic. In just under an hour of footage, she mocked her new beau for working in a nightclub, shouted at him for not using cutlery correctly, and laughed at his height with her maid of honour. Off to a great start, in other words.
But Brent’s best man was clearly having none of it. His face throughout Tamara’s tirades was an absolute picture; he later headed outside with Brent for a serious chat about his situation.
Levi’s emotional maturity clearly attracted a lot of viewers but it also helped that he’s blessed in the looks department: smouldering like a sunset and chiseled like Mount Rushmore, he provoked quite the reaction on social media last night (see below).

It won’t come as a surprise to anyone to discover that Levi works as a model when he’s not briefly appearing on MAFS. What may be more surprising, however, is that he’s also a budding DJ with his own single out.
Titled ‘Live My Life’, the song was released last December and features vocals from singer Bianca. It’s a pretty traditional clubland track – maybe if he’s lucky, MAFS will choose it to soundtrack a scene in one episode. Listen for yourself below and decide whether Levi should stick to modelling or pursue music.
