What a week it’s been for MAFS stars Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie. A cheating scandal rocked the couple when Jackson was spotted kissing a mystery girl on a night out. Some thought it was a publicity stunt. Olivia’s MAFS rival Domenica definitely thought it was fake. A second woman then claimed to have kissed the lothario.

And now Jackson has publicly addressed the incident in a surprising Instagram video. “Appreciating everyone’s love and support during this hard time,” the video on Olivia’s Instagram was captioned.

“Look, just taking a second to jump on here to address what happened last weekend. It’s sh*t, I f**ked up,” he started saying. “All the negativity we’ve been getting from the show, the way I’ve kind of been dealing with it is to get blackout drunk, which don’t get me wrong, isn’t an excuse and it’s not acceptable.”

Olivia remained stoic throughout as Jackson looked rather solemn. “I am seeking help to try and figure out new ways to combat my emotions and how to deal with this negativity,” he continued.

Jackson also confirmed that the couple were staying together, adding, “We’ve got a lot of healing to do, but ultimately we love each other.” The pair then weirdly ended the video by saying “it’s not worth throwing it away” at the same time, which really makes it seem like they rehearsed the speech in front of the mirror several times beforehand.

After posting the video last night, some of their fellow MAFS stars soon sent messages of support. “I love you guys. What you have definitely isn’t worth throwing away,” wrote Tamara Djordjevic.

“I think people need to understand you’re still humans and no one unless they have been through half of what you guys have would ever understand the pressure it puts on peoples mental health and ultimately a relationship. Always have my support.”
