McDonald’s will be selling a 50c Cheeseburger at restaurants nationwide on Sunday as part of their popular 30 Days 30 Deals promotion.

The announcement is simultaneously great news for your wallet and bad news for your diet. Prepare to (try and) pace yourself throughout November.

Jo Feeney, McDonald’s Marketing Director in Australia, made the following statement: “Every day throughout November we’ll be serving-up a new deal on the most iconic products on our menu. With 30 great offers over the 30 days in November, there’s something for every customer.

Redeeming an offer is simple. Just select the deal through the MyMaccas app and head to your nearest McDonald’s to collect it.”

As it’s exclusively available through the Mymaccas’ app, that means no Uber Eats or Menulog. A quick walk seems fair for such a low price though.

Customers can choose from a selection of iconic menu items, including a $2 Big Mac, $1 McFlurry or $1.50 Thickshake. Fans can also share a delicious deal with their family or friends. We’re talking $8 Mates Share Pack, $5 Small McChicken Meal plus Cheeseburger or $8 two Small Quarter Pounder Meals.

We can just picture the scene next week in Melbourne: a mass of hungry and hungover folk, fresh from their first trip back to the pub in months, swaying up to the Macca’s counter, pointing agitatedly at the app on their phones, looking like extras from 28 Days Later.

It follows Macca’s announcing their new chicken range earlier this month, including a Chicken Parmi Burger. Really laying thick into Aussie culture. It also saw the exciting return of their classic McSpicy Burger.

While you download the Mymaccas’ app and wait with bated breath for November 1st to arrive, why not take our difficult McDonald’s facts quiz? If you do well, treat yourself to two Cheeseburgers on Sunday. That seems like a fair deal.
