While some celebrities stay home and complain about quarantine, there are others like Michael Madsen who take to reminding us that they’re staying home and we should too, just like he has in a video reenacting a scene from Reservoir Dogs.
COVID-19 quarantine has translated into some interesting things coming about from actors and celebrities. We’ve seen Ellen Degeneres complain that staying in her mansion feels “like being in jail”, the cast of Parks And Recreation announce a one-off reunion special, and now actor Michael Madsen has taken to YouTube to put his own form of entertainment up, with a sly PSA attached.
You remember that scene from Quentin Tarantino‘s 1992 film Reservoir Dogs, right? The one that sees actor Michael Madsen playing the ruthless Mr. Blonde who is seen jovially dancing to ‘Stuck In The Middle With You’ by Stealers Wheel while casually cutting off the ear of a captured cop?
Well, if you don’t, here’s the original scene so we can all get our memories jogged.
Check out the scene from Reservoir Dogs:
Now, with everyone stuck in quarantine, and surely loosing their sanity little by little, who else would it be than that psychopath playing actor, Michael Madsen, to remind us to stay at home by reenacting the famous, mesmerising scene?
That’s right. The 62-year-old actor uploaded a video to YouTube casting multiple family members as the captured cop, all sporting bloody bandages on the side of their head, in place of their ear.
Then, in classic fashion, he took to taking on his ‘Mr. Blonde’ persona by donning a suit and pyjama pants, while dancing just as he did on Reservoir Dogs to the memorable Stealers Wheel track.

The end of the video wraps up with a simple message that reminds us to stick to social distancing regulations by saying, “Stay safe. Stay home.”
